Today Begins Every Kid Healthy Week!

The Directors of Health Promotion and Education (DHPE) is excited to
kick off Every Kid Healthy™ Week, an annual observance celebrating school
health and wellness achievements! This special week shines a spotlight on the
link between nutrition, physical activity and learning and the ways in which
K-12 schools are partnering with other community organizations to improve the
health and wellness of K-12 students in nontraditional ways.
As a member of the Partnering4Health community, you are also part of
the national movement to improve the health and wellness of K-12 students and
to highlight the link between nutrition, physical activity and learning.
Here are a few ways to take action and to make the
connection between your work and Every Kid Healthy Week:
