DHPE's Internship and Fellowship Manager, Thometta Cozart participated in multiple events and site visits recently where she met aspiring students studying health promotion and public health. DHPE has provided a few students from those visits with complimentary student membership. Please join us in welcoming them.
Melissa Jean-Francois has a B.S in Biological Sciences and
is currently earning her Masters of Public Health with a concentration
in Biostatistics at Florida International University. She is
interested in the further integration of public health and medicine to better
serve the community.
Sadiq is an undergraduate student currently studying Health Systems
Management at Dillard University in New Orleans, Louisiana. Her overall goal
after graduate school is to become a member of the World Health Organization
and enhance health outcomes via quality care and access. Increasing health
outcomes on an international level is of the utmost importance to Calisha.
Harris graduated last year from SandHoke Early College and Sandhills
Community College receiving my High School Diploma and Associates of Arts
degree. Currently, she is a Senior and the
University of North Carolina at Pembroke, and her major is Health Promotion. Tangie will graduate May
2015, but plans to stay at the University of North Carolina at
Pembroke for graduate school.
