CDC’s Division of Nutrition, Physical Activity, and Obesity (DNPAO) is pleased to announce the following webinar in the TACTIC Webinar Series.

Description
This intermediate-level webinar will present comprehensive strategies to improve community design standards that encourage walking, biking, and active transportation. Presenters will share how increased physical activity has been vital in helping underserved populations on both a local and national level; and how to engage stakeholders in a position to improve health disparities, and incorporate health equity and behavior change into Complete Streets policies.

Learning Objectives
By the end of this webinar, awardees should be able to:
• Identify at least one strategy for improving community design standards in their community.
• Describe at least two Complete Streets policies that can address social equity and/or behavior change in a community.
• Determine the most effective policy/policies that encourages equitable design improvements and behavior change in their community.
