In this webinar, presenters will share strategies on how impact investments can help to launch, expand, and sustain programs and services that promote health. Impact investments are financial investments made to generate social and/or environmental benefit and earn a financial return. Presenters will explore how impact investments have helped increase access to healthy foods, active transportation, and physical activity.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this Webinar, awardees are expected to be able to:

  • Outline the key factors to consider when deciding whether impact investing is the right option for their community health work
  • Incorporate at least one entrepreneurial tactic in developing a community health sustainability plan
  • Describe the different impact investing tools and which one (if any) may be best suited for their community work
