The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) invites you to attend training on population-based and systems-level approaches to increase breast, cervical, and colorectal cancer screening. The 1½-day training will be conducted by the Directors of Health Promotion and Education (DHPE) and Strategic Health Concepts (SHC).

By the end of this training, grantees will be able to:

  • Build a persuasive case for population-based and systems-level approaches to increase cancer screening.
  • Identify steps to establish relationships with health systems, insurers, employers, and professional organizations to Implement population-based and systems-level approaches. 
  • Develop an action plan for increasing population-based screening.

The training will take place July 22-23, 2013 at The W Hotel, 3337 Peachtree Road, Atlanta, GA. The DHPE will support travel costs for a limited number of grantees. One person may register from each CRCCP. Register now during priority registration to guarantee your space. Please do not forward this invitation as space is limited.  General registration will open in two weeks, at which time, your space and travel funds will no longer be held.
