Neglected Needs: The Status of Boys’ Sexual Health and Education
Date: Thursday, April 26, 2012
Time: 3 - 4 p.m. - Webinar

Part 2 of a 3 part webinar series "What About the Boys: Teaching Sexuality Effectively to Adolescent Boys." Each webinar is 1 CHES credit! The fee to register is $45, and only $120 for all three webinars.

The vast majority of sexuality education curricula and programs are created with the needs of girls in mind. This unfairly sets girls up to be the gatekeepers for all sexual interactions with boys and results in an unhealthy imbalance in male-female couples that can have an impact on communication, decision-making and more. This webinar will provide a concrete look at what boys’ needs are when it comes to sexual health information and education and offer best practices for teaching about sexuality in ways that resonate with boys.
