Program Activities

Overview

DHPE is at the forefront of national prevention efforts and is organized specifically to provide leadership in health education and health promotion, programming, practice, training, technical assistance, and policy development. DHPE supports many of the important public health programs at the Department of Health and Human Services, and especially at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and within the National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion.
